Mica Band Heaters and Strip Heaters are used
by many plastics manufacturers, because of their low cost and semi flexible. Mica
band heaters should not be used for high temperature applications. Ceramic heater
should be used instead. Quality designed band heaters and flat strip heaters depense
on micas, ribbons, and wires quality. Spacing between ribbons are also important
because it affect the watts density of the heater. The larger the spacing the
